Having a dream a friend tried to set me up with Misty Edwards, I went in search and found this song (above): one of those songs that trap me in a continual state of worship (of which I can’t really complain).
However, I do believe this moment is more important than meets the eye, for I see it as a personal border and doorway to good change. In addition, I just can’t help but stand in awe of my Maker as I see this great personal blessing and advancement in the midst of such great turmoil in my nation: East Coast earthquake; Hurricane Irene and its aftermath; continual flooding here in New Jersey; burning and drought in Texas; a continually struggling economy; upcoming presidential elections; and now a renewed fear of a terrorist attack, on the 10 year anniversary of 9/11 this weekend nonetheless.
And thus I hear the word: “Be still and know I am God,” as in: “Don’t fear, for I am God and am in control, I will protect you from all evil if you will dwell in My secret place and worship Me alone with all of your being.”
